Update September 13, 2017 why we should fire the assistant DOJ

why we should fire the assistant DOJ

Why the director of the FBI should be fired after 90 days rather than immediately.

There are multiple articles prior to the election of President Trump into office concerning the FBI director,
James Comey .

The following link is one of hundreds of other articles and also research that will show that the both the Democrats and the Republicans senators did not endorse or agree with the FBI director Comey.

Anyone having a background in leadership should know that when you take over a position you wait 90 days minimum to replace major department heads as you re-structure that department.

The president did exactly what a leader or an executive would and should have done, he waited the required time to restructure the department of the FBI and then released that individual based on non-performance.

New information as of September 13, 2017

“Except as provided in this part, the Special Counsel shall determine whether and to what extent to inform or consult with the Attorney General or others within the Department about the conduct of his or her duties and responsibilities,” 28 CFR 600.6 states.

There used to be a law in place specifically dealing with special prosecutors: the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, which was passed after Watergate. This law stated that the attorney general could not fire the special prosecutor once appointed. However, this law expired in 1999, and so it does not apply to Mueller.
